About Amrik Varkalis

We’re selling Art. We may be currently a gallery without walls but the Art we have remains available for purchase.

Born in the Punjabi region, Amrik Varkalis paints in the visual aesthetic tradition of British painting. She observes and records English culture, especially the English landscape in which she lives, bringing to her art a fusion of heat and flat, humorous plains where landscapes can bulge and Still Lifes can glimmer.

We visited Amrik Varkalis in her Huddersfield studio. Her art has never been better. She has recently featured on Sky Art's 'Artist of the Year' and is currently exhibiting in Dean Clough, Halifax.
